Ozar, Just 5 Kms away from Malvan Jetty, is a religious place near the village Revandi. This place is famous for a cave carved in old days. The legend says that this cave goes to the Sindhudurga fort by underground road. Shri Brahmanand swami made ‘Tapa’ (Meditation) here so after his death his tomb is constructed at the same place where he was sitting for meditation.
There is a Shivalingam, image & idol of Shri Brahmanand swami, idol of Saibaba which are worshiped daily by villagers. Two reservoir, secluded serenity & lush greenery attract the tourists to this beautiful place. All the year around there is clean water in it. In this cave, from ancient time there is ‘Swayambhu Pindi’ of Shri. Shankar. This place is known as Ozareshwar.
